Summer 2005 Issue Summer's here! It's the perfect time to explore the natural world. We've selected a few of our favorite outdoor activities and reading lists for your students to do at home.  NEW RESOURCE AstroViz: Nearby Stars http://sciencebulletins.amnh.org/ astro/v/nearby.20050430/ We see only a fraction of the stars in our Milky Way Galaxy when we gaze at the night sky. This interactive explores the reasons why the stars that appear brightest to us are not necessarily the closest to Earth.  FINAL DAYS OF SUMMER REGISTRATION Seminars on Science: Online Graduate Courses For Teachers http://learn.amnh.org/welcome.php Register now to take a six-week course in the life, Earth, or physical sciences from Seminars on Science, the Museum's online professional development program.
